Kazakh president pledges help to foreign firms leaving Russia
NUR-SULTAN, Jul 14 (PRIME) -- Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ordered the government on Thursday to create favorable conditions for the foreign business relocating to the country from Russia.
"We witness global fighting for investment capital. Every second of almost 1,400 large foreign companies suspended activities or fully left the Russian market. The government should create favorable conditions for their relocation to Kazakhstan," Tokayev said.
According to the official, the step will allow Kazakhstan to develop production of middle and high added value.
